The department of Biology is working since 1997 to develop scientific attitude, interest and competitive spirit among the students.

Every year we are organizing science exhibitions, seminars and different competitions like, science Olympiad, National Environmental, Talent Search Competition, Paryavaran Mitra, Vanya Jeevan Ratna award etc. Besides this our students are taking part in different scientific Competitions out side the school Interschool level, State level and National level and have brought laurel to the school.

The department of biology aim to utilize day to day experiences and happenings in learning & understanding the world around us; and to apply that knowledge for the welfare of the mankind.

An understanding of children learn about biology can immensely help us to analyze their learning inquiry skills hence they explore and investigate the natures by using the tools and their sense to gather in formations and to make reasonable explanation, in our well equipped laboratory.

We have a well equipped laboratory with modern amenities. In our school students are taught how and why to protect the beautiful nature. Opportunities are extended to students to become familiar and friendly nature to provide quality education and to fulfill the aims and requirements of YPS aspirants.
