Celebrating 77th Independence Day with Unity and Patriotism
In a spirit of national pride and unity, Yugantar Public School Rajnandgaon celebrated India’s 77th Independence Day with fervor and enthusiasm. The school’s premises were adorned with tricolor decorations, and the air buzzed with excitement as students, teachers, and staff came together to commemorate the historic day.
The celebration commenced with the hoisting of the Indian national flag by the esteemed Board of Directors, Chairman Mr. Vinod Sadaani, Treasurer Mr. Mishrilal Golcha, Director (Academics) Mr. Sushil Kothari, Mr. Ajay Singhi, Mr. Akharaj Kotaria, Mr. Rajkumar Agrawal, Mr. Narendra Kotaria, and Mr. Jitendra Bhansali (son of Director Academics, Saraswati Bhansali), School Principal and Headmistress accompanied by a rendition of the national anthem. This solemn moment set the tone for the rest of the event, emphasizing the importance of the day in the country’s history.
The ceremony began with dignitaries paying floral tributes at the martyrs’ podium. A cultural program, showcasing the rich diversity of India, followed the flag hoisting ceremony. Students presented a vibrant array of performances, including March Past patriotic songs, dance routines, and dramatic role play that depicted significant milestones in India’s struggle for independence. The heartfelt performances were a testament to the students’ dedication and hard work.
In his welcome speech, Principal Mr. Abhishek Khandelwal highlighted that Yugantar’s brand name has been built on hard work and strong determination. He mentioned that Yugantar is contributing to the comprehensive development of students by focusing on the multifaceted aspects of their growth .
On this occasion to display the recognition and achievement, School held its annual Badge Giving Ceremony to honor the outstanding accomplishments of its students. Dressed in their finest attire, the students eagerly awaited their turn to ascend the stage and receive badges that symbolize their dedication and hard work.
During this time, Mr. Dinesh Pratap Singh (P.R.O & Sports Officer ) administered the oath and the newly elected members of the Student Council took the oath of office and confidentiality. After their oath-taking, all members of the Student Council expressed their commitment and dedication to fulfilling their duties and responsibilities, ensuring disciplined and organized academic activities at the school. They vowed to utilize the platforms provided by Yugantar to enhance the all-round development of students, enabling them to reach new heights of progress.

In his address, School’s Academic Director Mr. Shushil Kothari emphasized the importance of fostering a sense of civic responsibility and encouraged students to be active participants in shaping the country’s future. He praised the students for their dedication to the event and their commitment to preserving the legacy of the nation’s struggle for Independence. Chairman Mr. Vinod Sadaani added that there is no alternative to hard work and strong determination. He encouraged students never to back down from hard work and determination. Success and failure are integral parts of life, and all students should face them with full mental strength.
In this context, Aabha Khandelwal and Apoorva Bakshi were honored for their remarkable success in the NEET exam.
The celebration concluded with the distribution of sweets and the singing of the national song, Sare Jahan Se Achha, further enhancing the patriotic fervor that marked the day. As the event came to a close, students and staff departed with a renewed sense of pride, unity, and gratitude for the freedoms and opportunities that India’s 77 years of independence have brought.
